A digital menu for restaurants that guests finish reading

Replace laminated cards and pinch-to-zoom PDFs with a mobile-first menu that loads in under a second, updates the moment your kitchen changes something, and tells you which dishes people actually look at.

Built for the phone in your guest’s hand

Everything a paper menu can’t do

A digital menu is not a PDF on a link. It is a real web page built for a phone held at arm’s length in dim restaurant lighting — readable type, tappable categories, photos that load before your guest gives up.

  • Opens in under 1 second on 4G — no app, no signup
  • Tappable categories, search and dietary filters
  • Photos on the dishes you want to sell
  • Change a price once — every table sees it instantly
  • Mark a dish sold out and it greys out at every table

What your digital menu comes with

No add-on pricing for the things a working restaurant menu obviously needs.

🖼

Dish photography

Upload once. We compress, crop and serve the right size to every phone so nothing stalls on a slow connection.

🌐

Multiple languages

Publish the same item list in English, Hindi, Marathi or any language your guests read — one menu, one edit.

Time-based menus

Breakfast until 11, lunch until 4, dinner after. The right menu appears without anyone remembering to switch it.

🚫

Sold-out toggle

86 a dish from your phone mid-service and it greys out instantly — no more apologising at the table.

🏷

Allergen & diet tags

Veg, vegan, Jain, gluten-free, nuts and spice level, shown as filters guests can tap.

📊

Scan analytics

See scans by hour and table, which dishes get opened, and which ones nobody scrolls to.

Setup

Live by the end of your next shift

1

Send us your menu

Upload a photo or PDF of the menu you already have. We read it and structure the items, prices and sections for you.

2

Check and brand it

Fix any names our reader got wrong, add photos and tags, then drop in your logo and colours.

3

Print the QR

Download table QR codes, an A4 window poster and takeaway stickers straight from the dashboard.

4

Watch and adjust

Analytics show what guests open and what they skip. Move the high-margin dishes up and reprint nothing.

The case for it

Why restaurants move to a digital menu

The cost of a printed menu is not the printing. It is the six weeks between a supplier price rise and the reprint, during which every table orders at the old price. It is the sticker over the paneer price that guests notice. It is the four cards you throw away because a dish came off.

Prices that stay honest

With a digital menu, a price change is one edit. Every table — and every guest who saved the link — sees the new number on their next scan. Nothing is reprinted, nothing is stickered over.

The menu becomes a place you can sell

On paper, every dish gets the same treatment. On a digital menu you can put a photo on the dish with the best margin, pin chef’s picks to the top of a category, and attach an add-on suggestion — garlic bread with the pizza, raita with the biryani — that a printed card can never offer.

You finally find out what guests read

  • Which categories get opened first, and which never get scrolled to
  • Which dishes hold attention and which get a half-second glance
  • What time your scans peak, so you know when to staff the pass
  • Which tables scan most — useful when you are deciding where to seat walk-ins

A paper menu tells you nothing. After a fortnight on a digital menu you know which third of your card is dead weight, and that is usually worth more than the printing you saved.

It does not replace your printed menu

Plenty of restaurants keep both, and should. MenuFly exports the same item list as a print-ready PDF with bleed and crop marks, so the leather folder on the table and the QR code beside it never disagree about the price of the biryani.

FAQ

Questions we get asked most

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. The menu opens in whatever browser is already on the phone, straight from the camera scan. There is nothing to install and nothing for your guest to sign up for.

How long does it take to set up a digital menu?

Most restaurants are live in under 15 minutes. Upload a photo or PDF of your current menu, we structure the items for you, you check the prices and publish.

What happens when I change a price?

It updates for every guest immediately — including anyone who already has the menu open. There is no reprint and no version to keep track of.

Will it work if my restaurant has patchy Wi-Fi?

Yes. The menu is a few hundred kilobytes and loads over 4G in under a second. It does not depend on your restaurant’s Wi-Fi at all.

Can I run a digital menu and a printed menu together?

That is the normal setup. One item list drives both — the QR menu on the table and a print-ready PDF for the folder — so the two can never drift apart.

Do you charge per scan?

No. Plans are a flat monthly price by outlet. Scans are unlimited on every plan, including the free one.
